components how to behave if computer is found to be unresponsive.</font></p>

is one of the latest additions to HP OpenView. NTSM is capable of sending messages to
ManageX Management Console. These messages are not SNMP based. ManageX components must be
installed on the same machine as NTSM.</font></td>

alert, NTSM will pop-up with a box listing server(s) that are not responding. This
occurs only when NTSM is minimized.</font></td>

<td width="100%"><font size="2"><strong>No Response Timeout - </strong>Number of times
NTSM will ignore that server is down before alarming. When the number of times that NTSM
detects the server to be down equals to No Response Timeout an alert will be sent. For
example, if No Response timeout is set to 5 and the server that is being polled is
unresponsive, alert will be sent only on the 5th time the server is detected to be
unresponsive. No further alerts will be sent as long as the server is unresponsive.</font></td>

<td width="100%"><small><strong>Pause between servers - </strong>NTSM will pause between
each server for a defined number of seconds of milliseconds. The acceptable
values are between 1 to 60000 milliseconds. This feature enables to slow the poll
rate down.</small></td>

<td width="100%"><small><strong>Pause after all servers- </strong>This feature is very
similar to "pause between servers". "Pause after all servers"
will pause the polling after all servers have been polled. The acceptable values are
0 to 1380 minutes. Both pause features are independent of each other. </small></td>
